Tempo Storm acquires top NA HotS team Murloc Geniuses, formerly Astral Authority
From TempoStorm.com
"Late last year, Blizzard announced a huge step forward for Heroes of the Storm esports by introducing the world to Heroes Global Championship (HGC) 2017, "an esports league of heroic proportions." The top roster competing in this league, originally known as the Murloc Geniuses, was the first team to win two consecutive HotS NA regionals; they also represented NA in both BlizzCon 2016 and the Gold Club World Championship. The squad parted ways with organization Astral Authority upon the conclusion of 2016. Today, Tempo Storm is excited to announce our participation in HGC via the acquisition of the Murloc Geniuses roster, consisting of cattlepillar, CauthonLuck, psalm, Fury, and Jun."

Tricked Esport welcomes Their New Heroes:
From Tricked.dk
Today, we are proud to announce the signing of our Heroes of the storm team, The Damascus Boys. The team brings a lot of experience with appearances from teams like Na'Vi, Misfits and Dignitas.
The team's in-game shotcaller and drafter, Alexander "AlexTheProG" Grumstrup, had the following to say about his new home:
"I'm very excited to be joining Tricked eSport, an up and coming Danish organization. With their support, we will assuredly reach our full potential whilst having a great time in the HGC. In joining, we also hope to establish Tricked eSport as a major contender in the HoTS scene."
Tricked eSport's CEO, Morten "Phy" Jensen, also gave a statement about Tricked's venture into HOTS:
"Today I'm very happy to announce something special as we venture into uncharted territory. Heroes of the Storm is a totally new game in which we have no former past with. We had a couple of opportunities to expand our team section and this time we really had to dig down and do the research in both the new league structure and the future scene. From what we have learned it really looks like Blizzard is committed to this game and will only add more funding into the scene over the next year. I think in 2017 HOTS will move to a place that is way more competitive than before and probably take some of the market share from Dota and League. The competitive scene will only grow when people find out that Blizzard make you able to build a future / career in this game now."

DIG Heroes re-signs for 2017; Zaelia to replace Athero
From team-dignitas.net
Today we are proud to announce to have re-signed our extremely successful Heroes of the Storm roster for 2017! Throughout the year, the team dominated the European scene, claiming four trophies at EU Regionals. We will be making one change from the lineup that competed at BlizzCon 2016 and the Gold Club World Championship in China.
We are very grateful to Lawrence "Athero" Harper for his time in Team Dignitas and agreeing to step in when the team lost a player only one month before the season's culmination. His efforts helped us reach a top four placement at BlizzCon, our highest finish at a global Heroes event in 2016. Athero is now a free agent, and everyone in the team wishes him the best of luck for his future career.
Joining the successful Team Dignitas Heroes of the Storm lineup is Kenn "Zaelia" Rasmussen. The 22-year old Dane has been turning heads in the professional scene all year, impressing his peers with top notch game mechanics. While Zaelia has played ranged assassin heroes on past teams, he has already proven to his new colleagues his ability to transfer and apply that mechanical skill to his new melee assassin role.
